I DIDN’T START THIS BECAUSE I HAD IT FIGURED OUT.
I started it because I believed in what I was building before I had proof that anyone else would.
I knew what it felt like to keep showing up in rooms that weren’t built for me. To work on something privately. To make the decision, rethink it, learn, and keep going without an audience telling me I was getting it right.
Bossed Up Chic Empire grew from that experience.
Not from having arrived. From deciding I wasn’t going to wait for permission to build.
I WANTED TO MAKE ROOM FOR THE WHOLE WOMAN.
The woman with the business idea and the unfinished to-do list. The woman making a difficult pivot. The woman celebrating progress that might look small to somebody else but means everything to her.
She can be disciplined and expressive. Ambitious and still figuring things out. Proud of how far she’s come and hungry for what comes next.
She doesn’t need to make herself smaller to be taken seriously. And she shouldn’t have to wait for a milestone to enjoy getting dressed.
That’s the woman I’m building this brand for.
CHAPTER 01 IS WHERE I PUT THAT BELIEF INTO WORDS.
Made in Private is our first original BUCE chapter.
Scenes 01–03 speak to the work behind the visible moment. The decisions, consistency, and self-belief that came before anybody called it an overnight success.
It’s a message I wanted to make tangible: the part they didn’t see still counts.
But it isn’t the only part of her life.
THE BUCE EDIT MAKES ROOM FOR THE REST.
Alongside our original chapters, The BUCE Edit is our curated selection of clothing and accessories.
It’s where that same point of view meets a wider wardrobe. Something sharp. Something expressive. Something effortless. Something with a little more drama because she feels like it.
I don’t see her as one look, one mood, or one stage of success.
I see a woman building a life she intends to participate in fully. Her style gets to come with her.
THIS IS WHAT I’M BUILDING.
A brand that respects the work and makes room for the woman doing it.
Original pieces with a story to carry. Curated pieces she can make her own.
You don’t have to arrive with everything figured out.
I didn’t either.
